| Ahmed Ossama was appointed Managing Director at TE Data since 2008. Ahmed has been with the TE group since 2003 as TE Data’s Product Marketing and Government Affairs Director. Before that, Ahmed co-founded Site Information Consultancy, an Internet application development company in 1998 that was later on acquired by Pyramid Technology in 2000, where Ahmed worked as the ISP Operation Manager until 2003. Before that Ahmed joined InTouch Communications Services in 1996 as a Systems Engineer, where he participated in building the infrastructure of the first ISP in Egypt and later on became the Operations Manager. Before that, Ahmed worked in IBM Egypt as a software engineer. Ahmed holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a Minor in Electronics from the American University in Cairo. |

| Rania El Bakry was born in Cairo, Egypt. She received her school education in Cairo and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where she had a chance to grow in a cosmopolitan environment with a wide range of nationalities. El Bakry received her university education at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Canada where she acquired a Bachelor degree in Public Relations (BPR). She then pursued a Masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at the American University in Cairo. El Bakry began her career in television in Canada where she joined CanWest Global Television, Canada’s largest independent television station, in the field of sales promotion. She then moved back to Cairo to join the country's leading mobile service provider, Mobinil. In her 12 years in Mobinil, she worked in various areas within the company ranging from public relations & events to corporate sales support to strategic marketing and finally to digital communication. She currently holds the position of Manager of Digital & Direct Communication within Mobinil. El Bakry has been and continues to be an instructor of media writing and media fundamentals with the undergraduate program of Journalism and Mass Communication Department of the American University since Fall 2001 and in the graduate diploma program as well. She is also a collegiate member of the International Public Relations Association (IPRA) and continues to be involved with the Metropolitan Immigrant Settlement Association (MISA) in Canada. When she is free, Rania enjoys reading, travelling and yoga. Rania is a published author with a chapter on The Contingency Theory of Accommodation in Public Relations and its Applicability to the Telecommunication Sector in Egypt in a book entitled Mass Media Research: International Approaches published by the Athens Institute for Education and Research (ATINER) in 2006. |
