iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max: prices, cameras, more

As Apple CEO Tim Cook said in the latest Apple event, which was held on September 7, 2022: The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are the “most innovative pro line yet.”

Here’s all you need to know about iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max: price, release date, cameras, colors, and more.

iPhone 14 Pro cheat sheet: all new features

    • The notch is dead, and in its place is a pill-shaped cutout to house the Face ID sensors and front-facing camera.
    • These cutouts are called the “Dynamic Island” that changes size depending on alerts, like calls or Face ID use, AirPods on a charge, and background activity.
    • The new display is now brighter at 1,600 nits and has slimmer bezels. And peak brightness tops out at 2,000 nits for use in sunlight.
    • There’s now an Always on display, enabled thanks to new tech that allows for refresh rates as low as 1Hz, and a new LTPO panel to dim the screen for low-power mode seriously.
    • A new A16 Bionic chip mixes the power of 16 billion transistors efficiently. It’s built on a 4-nanometer process, with a 6-core CPU that beats the A15 Bionic yet sucks up less energy than the competition; think the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. There’s a 5-core GPU with 50% more bandwidth and a display engine to power Dynamic Island. The Neural Engine can now handle 17 trillion operations per second to help aid computational photography.
    • A new 48MP camera promises more detail-rich photos and improved low-light photography, with up to 2x performance than the iPhone 13 Pro, thanks to Apple’s new Photonic Engine. Pro RAW can also be used with uncompressed 48-megapixel photos, enabling more editing flexibility for adjusting white balance and tone mapping.
    • All three cameras (main, telephoto, ultrawide) all get improved low-light photography. A new flash with 9 LEDs helps facilitate this.
    • For video, there’s 4K resolution up to 40 frames per second for Cinematic mode, and the new action mode is used for improved video stabilization.
    • Apple promises an “all-day battery life.”
    • There’s also crash detection, so the iPhone 14 Pro can automatically call emergency services if it detects you’ve had a crash.
    • The iPhone 14 Pro still starts at $999 and iPhone 14 Pro Max at $1,099, with pre-orders coming on September 9 and a full release on September 16.

The notch is replaced by a pill-shaped cutout, the Face ID components, and a second circular cutout, the front-facing camera, even though Apple will still offer the standard 6.1- and 6.7-inch screen sizes.

Apple moved the proximity sensor behind the screen, and notifications are now animatedly displayed in the notch. This system is known as Dynamic Island, according to Apple. Apple is emphasizing how it animates and uses the system for new notifications, and notifications and alerts will adjust to and move around the pill-shaped notch.

The always-on display of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will work with iOS 16’s new lock screen widget feature. It will enable access to information like calendar events, reminders, and weather without waking up the iPhone. Additionally, iOS 16 wallpapers have a sleep setting that makes them darker to conserve battery.

iPhone 14 Pro models Chipset & Battery Life

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max both get the new A16 Bionic chip. Building upon the fast A15 Bionic, the 6-core CPU is up to 40% faster than the competition. Yet being built on a 4-nanometre process and sporting 16 billion transistors, the chip’s two high-performance cores consume 20% less power than before.

The 5-core GPU offers 50% more bandwidth, delivering more gaming performance and slicker graphically intensive apps. And a display engine has been added into the mix to take care of Dynamic Island.

But iPhones have never lacked in performance, so the exciting thing here is the Neural Engine can now handle 17 trillion operations per second and 4 trillion operations per photo. Working in tandem with the image signal processor should mean the iPhone 14 Pro’s computational photography skills are awe-inspiring.

Apple revealed no battery sizes but promised the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max would deliver “all-day battery life.” We’ll have to see about that in our testing. Fast charging is on offer, with a 20W adapter filling up the battery to 50% in around 30 minutes.

There was no mention of RAM, either capacity or type, but expect the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max to be blazingly fast. Storage will come in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB options.

    iPhone 14 Pro models Camera

Speaking of the camera, the iPhone features a 48-megapixel sensor for the first time rather than a 12-megapixel sensor. The upgraded main camera’s quad-pixel sensor, f/1.78 aperture, and 24mm focal length enhance low-light photography.

The sensor will typically take 12-megapixel binned images to maximize light collection. Additionally, it allows Apple to crop the sensor in various ways to deliver real 2x zoom at a 48mm focal length. In addition, the new sensor significantly enhances details in Apple’s ProRAW format, which might result in some spectacular photographs.

iPhone 14 Pro, 14 Pro Max: price, cameras, more

Additionally, the new ultrawide camera enhances macro photography and boosts low light performance by three times. Apple’s flash on the iPhone 14 camera system has also been enhanced by becoming twice as bright and responsive to photo focal length. Both 4K resolution at 24fps and 4K resolution at 30fps are now supported in cinematic mode.

    iPhone 14 Pro models Pricing

The price of the iPhone 14 Pro is $999, while the cost of the iPhone 14 Pro Max is $1,099. On September 9, both will be pre-orderable, and on September 16, they will be on sale in stores.

  • Apple iOS 16 release date, new features on iPhone

Apple iOS 16 release date, new features on iPhone

Apple is set to release iOS 16 for specific iPhone users worldwide in a massive upgrade to its software in 2022 in line with iPhone 14 launch. This update will add new features to the iPhone, enabling users to access the most up-to-date security fixes and some new cool features.

Apple announced the update last June, but we’re a few days away from it arriving on iPhones worldwide.

When is Apple iOS 16 release date?

It’s confirmed that Apple will release iOS 16 on Monday, September 12, 2022, to all supported iPhone models worldwide. The company announced the release date at Apple Event on September 7.

    iOS 16 download size

The iOS 16 file size is around 2.5GB, and it takes about 10 minutes to download it on a high-speed Wi-Fi network and another 20 minutes to install the software on your iPhone.

iOS 16 update features – new iPhone tricks revealed

    #1 – Lock Screen

Apple is completely changing the Lock Screen, letting you customize presets or create your one entirely.

You’ll also be able to take advantage of Live Activities, a new feature that tracks real-time events.

This could include a workout, sports scores, your taxi journey, or a food delivery order – all from the Lock Screen.

Finally, a new design sees notifications rolling up from the bottom of the display, giving you the best possible view of the Lock Screen.

    #2 – Locking photo albums

If you didn’t realize, you could hide iPhone photos – by placing them in a Hidden folder.

But this Hidden folder is easy to find (or recover if you’ve hidden the folder itself).

Thankfully iOS 16 password-protects your Hidden and Recently Deleted folders on your iPhone.

That means you’ll need to use Face ID to gain access to them, protecting them from snoopers who might be using your iPhone.

#3 – Unsending and editing iMessages

Your Messages app will finally let you “unsend” iMessages.

This means they’ll be recalled from the recipient’s phone if you regret sending the text.

And you can even edit texts, too, so you can quickly and easily correct typos or other errors.

Importantly, this feature will only work correctly if the recipient is also on iOS 16 – so be wary in the first few weeks.

    #4 – Pin Safari tabs

If you’re an iPhone power user, you’ve probably got hundreds of Safari tabs open.

This can make it challenging to find the tabs that you use most frequently.

Thankfully iOS 16 will let you pin your favorite tabs in Safari, so you’ll never lose track of the key ones again.

Not all iPhone models can upgrade to iOS 16

You’ll need an iPhone 8 or later to get the new iOS 16.

That means two generations of iPhone have been cut off: the iPhone 6S and iPhone 7.

The 1st-generation iPhone SE won’t be compatible with iOS 16 but was with iOS 15.5.

Here’s the complete list of iOS 16 supported devices:

    • iPhone 13
    • iPhone 13 mini
    • iPhone 13 Pro
    • iPhone 13 Pro Max
    • iPhone 12
    • iPhone 12 mini
    • iPhone 12 Pro
    • iPhone 12 Pro Max
    • iPhone 11
    • iPhone 11 Pro
    • iPhone 11 Pro Max
    • iPhone Xs
    • iPhone XS Max
    • iPhone XR
    • iPhone X
    • iPhone 8
    • iPhone 8 Plus
    • iPhone SE (2nd generation or later)

If you’re using an older iPhone, you’ll need to upgrade to access iOS 16.

Otherwise, you’ll miss out on the new features.

But more worryingly, not being able to get the latest iOS means you’ll lose access to the most up-to-date security fixes.

These vital patches close hackers’ holes to accessing your systems; hackers are becoming more creative as technology continuously evolves.

  • Apple eliminates SIM card tray completely from iPhone 14, forces eSIM

Apple eliminates SIM card tray completely from iPhone 14, forces eSIM

One of the most surprising features Apple has announced for Apple 14 at its event on September 7 is the elimination of the regular SIM card tray in the iPhone 14 lineup. Instead, the latest iPhones will use eSIM technology.

eSIM technology uses software rather than a physical card to store your cell phone user information.

The iPhone 14 lineup will only abandon the physical SIM card in the U.S.; other regions will still feature an iPhone with a physical SIM card slot.

iPhone 14 eliminates the SIM card tray: everything about eSIM

Knowing that the iPhone 14 lineup will be available in the market on September 16, most people haven’t yet made the transition to eSIM; here’s everything you need to know about your new eSIM:

    What is eSIM?

An eSIM is a SIM card embedded in a mobile device and can connect you to any operator offering eSIM services.

Furthermore, the eSIM works the same way as a traditional SIM card, but you don’t need a physical SIM card. It is pre-installed on the device, and you can activate it by installing the “eSIM profile” of a new operator.

It is an evolution of the physical SIM card. More and more smartphones, tablets, and laptops are equipped with an eSIM card.

iPhone 14 eliminates the SIM card tray: everything about eSIM

There can be a lot of benefits to using eSIM, though keep in mind a phone carrier has to offer it as an option for you to use it. The good news for U.S. customers is that most major U.S. phone carriers offer eSIM, from T-Mobile and Verizon to more budget-friendly options like Mint Mobile.

    Which iPhones have the eSIM?

iPhone 14 eliminates the SIM card tray: everything about eSIM

    • iPhone X.R.
    • iPhone X.S.
    • iPhone XS Max
    • iPhone 11
    • iPhone 11 Pro
    • iPhone S.E. 2 (2020)
    • iPhone 12
    • iPhone 12 Mini
    • iPhone 12 Pro
    • iPhone 12 Pro Max
    • iPhone 13
    • iPhone 13 Mini
    • iPhone 13 Pro
    • iPhone 13 Pro Max
    • iPhone S.E. 3 (2022)
    • iPhone 14
    • iPhone 14 Plus
    • iPhone 14 Pro
    • iPhone 14 Pro Max

What does eSIM mean for iPhone 14?

Apple has offered eSIM support since the iPhone X.S., XS Max, and X.R. arrived in 2018. The iPhone 13 even allowed you to have multiple eSIMs on one phone. Currently, Apple confirmed that you could have eight or more eSIMs (oddly specific) and use two phone numbers simultaneously.

How to activate an eSIM on your iPhone?

Setting up the eSIM is pretty simple. You need to first get the eSIM card in one of four ways: install a carrier plan, scan a Q.R. code, use a phone carrier’s iOS app or use Apple’s eSIM quick transfer — a new iOS 16, which comes out on September 12.

    What is eSIM Quick Transfer?

There is a new eSIM setup option on iOS 16 called eSIM Quick Transfer. This allows you to transfer your current SIM card (a physical SIM card or an eSIM) from your old iPhone to a new one as an eSIM. The only catch here is that both phones have to run iOS 16, or it won’t work. But for many people, this will be an easy way to transfer their SIM cards when upgrading phones.

What are the advantages of eSIM service?

First, no more stabbing yourself with a SIM card tool. Second, by removing the physical SIM card slot, the phone has more room inside the case to improve other features instead of setting aside space for a physical card. You also cannot lose an eSIM card, and while physical SIM cards can be swiped to use in port-out scams that hijack phone numbers, the only way to get an eSIM is to steal the whole phone.

Moreover, an eSIM can be updated over cellular service or Wi-Fi rather than requiring you to swap out a new SIM card physically. As 5G improves, this could allow phone carriers to update eSIMs to get the most out of those improvements.

    What U.S. carriers use eSIM?

With eSIM Carrier Activation, your carrier can assign an eSIM to your iPhone digitally at the time of purchase or if you call your carrier for an eSIM after setup. Here are the U.S. carriers that offer eSIM service:

    • AT&T
    • Boost Mobile
    • Cellcom
    • Credo Mobile
    • C Spire
    • FirstNet
    • H2O Wireless
    • Spectrum Mobile
    • Straight Talk
    • Strata
    • T-Mobile USA
    • Tracfone
    • U.S. Cellular
    • Verizon Wireless
    • Xfinity Mobile

You can check Apple support to find wireless carriers and worldwide service providers that offer eSIM services.

  • Apple September event: iPhone 14, Apple watch series 8, more

Apple September event: iPhone 14, Apple watch series 8, more

Unlike last year, Apple is holding an in-person fall event named “Far Out” on 7 September. iPhone 14 will be the big headline announcement at the event. Other things will also be unveiled, including the Apple Watch Series 8 and probably more.

The launch will be streamed live from the Apple Park campus at 10:00 am Pacific Time.

According to MacRumors, this article highlights everything we’re expecting to see (and some more distant possibilities) at the event.

    iPhone 14

The most significant change to the iPhone 14 is the elimination of the 5.4-inch iPhone mini, which is being discontinued due to lackluster sales. The iPhone 13 mini will be the last iPhone at the 5.4-inch size, but four iPhones are still coming this year.

iPhone 14 size will be bigger for all models

Apple is replacing the 5.4-inch ‌iPhone‌ with a larger 6.7-inch model, so we can expect to see the 6.1-inch ‌iPhone 14‌, the 6.7-inch “‌iPhone 14‌ Plus” or “‌iPhone 14‌ Max,” the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and the 6.7-inch ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max. For much of the rumor cycle, the standard 6.7-inch ‌iPhone‌ in the works was assumed to be the ‌iPhone 14‌ Max after the Pro Max naming scheme, but rumors now suggest that it could be called the iPhone 14 Plus instead.

The size of iPhone 14 models will be bigger

iPhone 14 models will look almost identical to the iPhone 13 models

Aside from the new size, the standard ‌iPhone 14‌ models will look nearly similar to the ‌iPhone 13‌ models, with most changes reserved for the more expensive Pro models. There will be no design changes, and the Face ID notch will remain, nor are the ‌iPhone 14‌ models expected to adopt ProMotion technology.

iPhone 14 models will have an upgraded front-facing camera

The ‌iPhone 14‌ models are getting the upgraded Ultra Wide camera from last year’s ‌iPhone 13‌ models. They’ll also have an upgraded front-facing camera with a wider f/1.9 aperture and autofocus capabilities.

iPhone 14 models will have satellite-based emergency features

We’re expecting 6GB RAM, up from 4GB, and all ‌iPhone 14‌ models are rumored to feature an updated Snapdragon X65 10 Gigabit 5G modem from Qualcomm. The X65 modem enables some satellite connectivity features, so there have been rumors that Apple will implement satellite-based emergency features that let users send texts and report major emergencies in areas without cellular coverage.

WiFi 6E support is coming, and there’s rumored to be a new purple color that will join in black, white, red, and blue. Pricing is expected to stay the same, starting at $799.

    iPhone 14 Pro

While minor changes are coming to the standard ‌iPhone 14‌ models, the Pro line is getting a much more significant update. The 6.1 and 6.7-inch sizes aren’t changing, but Apple is rumored to eliminate the notch.

Apple September event: iPhone 14, Apple watch series 8, more
iPhone 14 Pro- Image Credit: Apple

iPhone 14 Pro line will have a more streamlined look

Apple is implementing a pill-shaped cutout and a hole-punch cutout, which will house the front-facing camera and the TrueDepth system needed for ‌Face ID‌. Though these are two precise cutouts, Apple plans to combine them into one long pill-shaped notch using the software.

The space between the two cutouts will be blacked out when the ‌iPhone‌ is activated, making the cutouts indistinguishable. This design will look like one cutout rather than two different-sized cutouts, which will make for a more streamlined look.

Rumors suggest that Apple will use the space between the cutouts for microphone and camera indicator lights. Still, the area between the cutouts will be black and appear as a single cutout.

    iphone 14 pro streamline

iPhone 14 Pro line will include a 1Hz to 120Hz ProMotion display

The ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ models are rumored to have a 1Hz to 120Hz ProMotion display, enabling a long-awaited Always-On Display function that’s expected to work similarly to the Apple Watch’s always-on display.

iPhone 14 Pro line will have the most significant camera updates we’ve seen on the ‌iPhone‌ line in years

The front-facing camera will feature the same wider f/1.9 aperture and autofocus capabilities as the regular ‌iPhone 14‌. There will be a more significant, more prominent camera bump to accommodate a new 48-megapixel Wide lens with a 21 percent larger sensor that supports higher-resolution images and 8K video recording, marking one of the most significant camera updates we’ve seen on the ‌iPhone‌ line in years.

Other expected changes to iPhone 14 Pro models

The telephoto lens will be upgraded from a 6-element lens to a 7-element lens, and we could also see improvements to the Ultra Wide camera. A new purple color could join the graphite, gold, and silver options. 6GB RAM is expected, the same as the iPhone 13 Pro models, and we are counting on a faster Snapdragon X65 10 Gigabit 5G modem, WiFi 6E, and up to 2TB storage space.

iPhone 14 Pro models might have a higher starting price

With so many upgrades, the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ models could have a higher starting price, with Apple increasing prices by approximately $100. If that happens, the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ will start at $1,099, and the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max will start at $1,199; no specific pricing details are known now.

    Apple Watch Series 8

The Apple Watch Series 8 is expected to look like the Apple Watch Series 7, with no notable design changes. Apple will continue to offer 41 and 45-mm size options, and the S8 chip inside is expected to provide the same performance as the S7.

A new temperature sensing feature might be added to the Apple Watch Series 8

We may get a new temperature sensing feature that can detect changes in body temperature. It’ll be used for fertility planning, but future versions of the Apple Watch could alert you if you have a higher than average body temperature.

Apple 7 September event: to launch iPhone 14, Apple watch series 8, more
Apple Watch Series 8- Image Credit: MacRumors

Measuring body temperature from the skin is not as accurate as getting a core body temperature reading. Hence, the ‌Apple Watch Series 8‌ will not likely provide a specific temperature number, instead just monitoring changes over time.

Car crash detection might be added to the Apple Watch Series 8

Car crash detection may make it into the ‌Apple Watch Series 8‌, with the feature mirroring fall detection. The accelerometer would detect a gravitational force spike and then alert emergency services if necessary.

More updates might be added to the Apple Watch Series 8

There could be updates to activity tracking. We don’t know precisely that Apple is working on an updated low-power mode. The updated low power mode would allow more functions to work while battery life is being preserved, rather than simply limiting all features.

    Apple Watch Pro

Apple is planning to launch a higher-end “Apple Watch Pro,” though it may sport a different name. The “pro” version of the Apple Watch will have an updated design that Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has described as an “evolution of the current rectangular shape.”

Apple Watch Pro will have a bigger screen size (display)

It will be larger than the current 45mm ‌Apple Watch Series 7‌ and will feature a display that measures two inches diagonally, up from the 1.9-inch screen size of the 45mm Apple Watch. The display will have a 410 x 502, and the extra display area could be used to show additional fitness metrics on a single screen.

Apple Watch Pro will have a shatter-resistant display

The ‌Apple Watch Pro‌ isn’t just a higher-end version of the Apple Watch; it’s also more rugged and is aimed at those who need more protection for extreme sports and other intensive activities. It will be made from a titanium alloy that is better able to hold up to abuse, and it will have a shatter-resistant display.

Apple 7 September event: to launch iPhone 14, Apple watch series 8, more
Apple Watch Pro- Image Credit: MacRumors

Apple Watch Pro will have a longer battery life

Because the ‌Apple Watch Pro‌ is expected to be larger than the Series 8 models, it will accommodate a bigger battery. It could thus support longer battery life for longer workout times. The low power mode could last for more than one day before recharging.

Apple Watch Pro might be more expensive.

Aside from the new design and the larger body, the ‌Apple Watch Pro‌ is expected to include all of the same features as the Series 8. It will be more expensive, perhaps between $900 and $1000.

    Apple Watch SE

A new version of the affordable Apple Watch SE is in the works and is expected to debut alongside the ‌Apple Watch Series 8‌, but there’s no word on what new features it might include. We can perhaps expect a faster processor and an always-on display, a feature initially introduced with the Series 6.

    Airpods Pro 2

Early rumors suggested that Apple might go with a smaller, stemless design. Still, more recent information has indicated a design similar to the current design with silicone ear tips and a stem.

Airpods Pro 2 might have an improved Find My integration and an improved sound

The charging case is rumored to have speaker holes, so it can play a sound when the AirPods are lost, which will go along with improved Find My integration. The AirPods 3 acoustics will enhance the sound, and an updated H1 chip with self-adaptive noise cancellation capabilities will be added.

Apple 7 September event: to launch iPhone 14, Apple watch series 8, more
AirPods Pro 2- Image Credit: MacRumors

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the ‌AirPods Pro‌ would feature Apple Lossless (ALAC) audio support. No AirPods have Lossless audio support because the AirPods function over Bluetooth, so for the AirPods to play higher-quality Lossless audio files, Apple would need a non-Bluetooth solution.

Apple is rumored to be transitioning to USB-C across its product lineup, but this year’s ‌AirPods Pro‌ is expected to continue to feature a Lightning port.

    Other Apple products release

While new iPhones, Apple Watch, and AirPods should already make for a jam-packed event, there are also new iPads in the works. Still, it is not clear if Apple will introduce these devices at the September event or save them for a second event that could potentially happen in October.

  • 17 Sales Coordinator interview questions with answers in 2022

17 Sales Coordinator interview questions with answers in 2022

Sales coordinators are the backbone to ensure the efficient running of a sales team. Applicants must possess organizational skills, attention to detail, motivation, and a natural ability to handle people, disputes, and contract issues. While sales coordinators are skilled in many CRM databases, human resources representatives should assess candidates’ ability to deal with stress in a fast-paced environment.

If you’re seeking a job in sales, it’s essential to be prepared for the interview. One way to do that is to know what questions to expect. This guide will provide you with the most common sales coordinator interview questions and model answers.

    1. In your opinion, what makes a successful sales team?

This question can help the interviewer determine your understanding of what it takes to be successful in a sales role. Use examples from your previous experience or discuss how you would define success as a team member.

Example: “A successful sales team works together and supports each other’s efforts. I think it’s essential for everyone on the team to feel valued, so I try to make sure my coworkers know they’re appreciated. In my last position, we had weekly meetings to discuss our goals and celebrate our successes. This helped us all stay motivated and encouraged us to work harder.”

    2. Describe a time when you successfully closed an enormous deal.

This question can help the interviewer understand your sales skills and how you apply them to close deals. Use examples from your previous experience highlighting your ability to work with clients, negotiate contracts and meet deadlines.

Example: “In my last role as a sales coordinator, I worked with a client looking for a new software system to manage their inventory. They were interested in our company’s product because of its advanced features and competitive pricing. After researching the client’s needs, I presented three different options that met their requirements and budget. The client ultimately chose our most expensive option, which helped us increase revenue by 20%.”

    3. How do you think technology is changing the sales landscape?

Technology is changing the sales landscape in many ways, and employers want to know how you feel about it. They may ask this question to see if you are familiar with current trends in technology and how they can help your team succeed. In your answer, try to show that you understand how technology has changed the sales industry and what benefits it offers.

Example: “I think technology is changing the sales landscape by making it easier for companies to reach their target audience. For example, I recently worked on a campaign using social media influencers to promote our product. This was much more cost-effective than traditional advertising methods, and it reached a younger demographic who would be interested in our product.”

    4. What do you think is the most critical skill for a Sales Coordinator to possess?

This question is your opportunity to show the interviewer that you possess the skills and abilities needed for this role. You can answer by identifying a skill from the job description and explaining how you use it in your daily work.

Example: “I think the most critical skill for a Sales Coordinator is communication. I believe that effective communication is key to ensuring all sales representatives are informed about their client’s needs and any changes or updates within the company. In my previous role, I used my communication skills to ensure everyone was on the same page regarding client information, upcoming meetings, and deadlines.”

    5. What do you believe is the best way to generate new sales leads?

This question can help the interviewer determine your sales strategy and how you plan to generate new leads for your company. Your answer should include a few methods that you have used in the past, along with an example of how they worked.

Example: “I believe it’s essential to use multiple lead generation methods to ensure we reach as many potential clients as possible. In my previous role, I helped create a marketing campaign that included social media ads, cold calling, and email outreach. This resulted in over 100 new monthly leads, more than enough to meet our quota.”

    6. How would you handle an irritated customer if no sales representative was available?

Because many sales representatives travel, they require the assistance of a sales coordinator who can screen calls and gather information first. It becomes crucial to assess how an applicant would handle a complaint without a sales representative, supervisor, or manager.

What to look for in an answer:

    • Deals well under pressure
    • Ability to build trust with clients
    • Dedication to solving the issue

Example: “I would listen carefully to the customer, gather all the facts, and let the person know I was committed to solving the issue. I would outline the steps I would take and provide an expected time frame for the resolution.”

    7. When was the last time you overcame an obstacle in your sales career?

This question can help the interviewer understand how you respond to and overcome challenges. Use your answer to highlight a time when you overcame an obstacle in your career, what the obstacle was and how you overcame it.

Example: “The last time I faced an obstacle in my sales career was when I started working as a sales coordinator for a large company. The company had many different products sold separately, so I found it difficult to track which product each customer wanted. To solve this problem, I created a spreadsheet where I could enter the customer’s information and then pull up the relevant product they needed. This helped me better serve customers and increased my sales.”

    8. What CRM databases and software have you used before?

The sales coordinator will spend time managing sales information through the sales funnel, including following up on leads. Initially, this includes contact information and other pertinent details like the level of interest. Still, it could evolve to recording sales interactions and maintaining contracts without a dedicated contracts department. Because of this, experience in CRM databases like Salesforce or Microsoft CRM is needed.

What to look for in an answer:

    • Experience with CRM databases
    • Ability to take current skills and apply them to new tools
    • Willingness to learn new systems if needed

Example: “Most of my experience comes from using Salesforce and Microsoft Excel. I have also used proprietary systems and have a strong understanding of how to apply my knowledge to new systems.”

    9. Describe a time when you utilized creative selling techniques to close a deal.

This question can help the interviewer determine your ability to think outside the box and use innovative strategies to close a sale. Use examples from previous work experience or describe how you would approach this situation if it has never happened.

Example: “In my last role, I worked with a client who had been in business for many years but hadn’t tried our company’s services yet. I knew that they were looking for ways to increase their sales, so I offered them a free trial period where we could provide them with marketing advice and see if our services worked for them. After two weeks, they decided to continue using our services because we helped them reach new customers and increased their revenue by 20%. They ended up becoming one of our longest-term clients.”

    10. How familiar are you with running reports, and what tools have you used?

This provides a good follow-up question to assess experience with CRM databases. Sometimes, the sales coordinator is responsible for running data queries and sales reports. Depending on the skill set needed and the applicant’s technology claims, this question allows you to verify the information and assess the confidence and sincerity of the reply.

What to look for in an answer:

    • Familiarity with tools or formulas used in reports
    • Ability to explain data
    • Attention to tone

Example: “I am well-versed in Salesforce and running reports from the sales dashboard. I am also familiar with using VLOOKUP, macros, and creating charts in Microsoft Excel to verify and match the data found.”

    11. What do you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses when it comes to sales?

This question is an opportunity to show your interviewer that you are self-aware and can use your strengths to overcome weaknesses. When answering this question, it’s essential to be honest about your strengths and weaknesses while demonstrating how you’ve used them to succeed in previous roles.

Example: “I consider my ability to multitask as one of my greatest strengths when it comes to sales. I can manage multiple clients at once, which allows me to provide excellent customer service while still meeting the needs of each client. My weakness would be my lack of experience with CRM software. However, I have taken steps to learn more about these programs to serve my clients better.”

    12. What would you do if you made a mistake in a sales contract and needed to smooth things over with a sales representative?

There might be a time when a sales representative or the sales coordinator makes a mistake. This case has no standard answer because the error may have come from the coordinator or the representative. However, a sales coordinator often proves documentation. By asking this question, you can see how an applicant applies critical thinking and conflict-resolution skills.

What to look for in an answer:

    • Willingness to move on from the situation
    • Conflict-resolution skills
    • Ability to admit to a mistake

Example: “While I am detail-oriented, I understand that mistakes occur. I would take ownership, learn from it and take steps to ensure I still have the trust of the sales representative. I apologize for any misunderstandings and reiterate that I aim to support the sales team so the business can flourish.”

    13. In your opinion, what are some of the biggest challenges facing sales teams today?

This question can help interviewers understand your knowledge of the sales industry and how you might approach challenges. When answering this question, it can be helpful to mention a specific challenge and explain what you would do to overcome it.

Example: “One of the biggest challenges facing sales teams today is finding qualified leads. With so many companies competing for customers, it’s important to have an effective lead generation strategy in place. I believe one way to solve this problem is by using social media as a marketing tool. For example, suppose we could use social media to target potential clients who are already interested in our product or service. In that case, we could increase our chances of converting them into paying customers.”

    14. How would you handle a customer’s dissatisfaction with a product or service?

This question can help the interviewer determine how you handle customer complaints and whether you have experience with handling them. Use your answer to highlight your problem-solving skills, communication ability, and commitment to ensuring customers are satisfied.

Example: “If a customer were not satisfied with a product or service, I would first apologize for their dissatisfaction and ask what they were unhappy about. Then, I would try to resolve the issue by offering an exchange or refund if applicable. If the situation required further assistance from management, I would escalate the issue to my manager so that they could address it.”

    15. How do you stay motivated in your sales career?

Employers ask this question to learn more about your work ethic and how you stay motivated in a sales career. They want to know that you can keep yourself motivated when working on projects or tasks, especially if they are looking for someone who can help their team members stay motivated. In your answer, explain what motivates you and share an example of a time when you were able to encourage others.

Example: “I find motivation through my passion for helping people. I love connecting with clients and providing them with solutions to their problems. This is why I became a salesperson in the first place. I also find motivation by setting goals for myself. I like to set weekly, monthly and yearly goals to track my progress and feel accomplished at the end of each day.”

    16. What do you consider to be the most critical factor in successfully closing a deal?

This question can help the interviewer determine your sales philosophy and how you approach closing a sale. Your answer can also tell them about your communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and ability to work as part of a team.

Example: “I believe trust is the most important factor in successfully closing a deal. If I don’t have my client’s trust, they won’t feel comfortable enough to buy from my company or me. I listen carefully to their needs and concerns to build trust with clients. This helps me understand what they’re looking for so I can provide solutions that meet their unique needs.”

    17. In your opinion, what is the best way to build positive relationships with customers?

This question can help the interviewer determine how you approach customer service and whether your methods align with the company’s values. Use examples from previous experience to show that you value customers’ time, opinions, and needs.

Example: “I believe the best way to build positive relationships with customers is by listening to them and understanding what they need. I always ask questions when I don’t understand something or if a client has additional requests. This helps me provide better service because I can anticipate any concerns before they arise. It also shows customers that I care about their unique situation.”

  • Sales Coordinator Cover Letter Writing Tips and Examples

Sales Coordinator Cover Letter Writing Tips and Examples

There are many conflicting opinions about whether a cover letter is still valuable for the current job market and whether it is better to move forward with an interview process.

Others believe that a cover letter is the only opportunity to show the employer how you perfectly fit the job and how you add value to them in a way you cannot convey in your resume or online profile. Therefore, cover letters are still critical to be provided in job applications.

It’s easy to see why most industries need a good cover letter, like the sales industry, but for other sectors where you need to sell your technical skills, it seems a little too much to ask to get the job.

Here, we will show you how to write a cover letter for a sales coordinator job and provide you with some valuable tips & examples.

Creating a custom cover letter can be time-consuming, but it’s necessary. To save time and anxiety, use a pre-formatted template and fill in the blanks to discuss the job or company you are applying for. You can find hundreds of templates on the Internet.

But remember that you do not want to sound too generic. Do your research and weigh the time it takes to write it against the chance you’ll be invited for an interview.

What to include in your cover letter?

All cover letters follow this same format to keep your information well-organized:

    • Your name and contact information
    • The company’s name and address
    • A greeting
    • The letter body
    • A signature

Before we explain how to make a cover letter, let’s break down the body of the letter further into three parts:

    1. Introduction paragraph
    2. Main body
    3. Conclusion

Each part has a specific purpose. In short, after introducing yourself in the first paragraph, you will move on to the main body (one to two paragraphs) to focus on your work history qualifications and tell a story about yourself.

Lastly, the final paragraph, or conclusion, reaffirms your interest and expresses a hope to meet for an interview.

Sales Coordinator Cover Letter Writing Tips

    1. Show your ability to build relationships

To be successful as a sales coordinator, you need to build positive relationships with clients, co-workers, and other company members. In your cover letter, try to give examples of how you’ve excelled in this area in the past.

For example, you could talk about how you successfully overcame objections from clients or how you were able to increase sales by developing solid relationships with key decision-makers. You could also mention any awards or recognition you’ve received for your work in sales.

    2. Highlight your organization skills

As a sales coordinator, you’ll organize and manage the sales process. In your cover letter, be sure to talk about how your organizational skills will benefit the company.

For example, you could mention how you streamlined the sales process by developing efficient systems or increased sales by 20% by creating a more efficient filing system. You could also mention any awards or recognition you’ve received for your work in the organization.

    3. Customize your cover letter

Sales coordinators are in high demand, so making your application stand out is essential. One way to do this is by tailoring your cover letter to match the company’s needs.

For example, if the company is looking for someone experienced in managing the sales process, highlight your experience in this area. If the company is looking for someone organized and efficient, talk about your skills in this area.

    4. Proofread your cover letter

Hiring managers are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals committed to excellence. Provide them with no reasons to doubt you by proofreading your cover letter. If it’s riddled with errors, they will assume you won’t be able to provide high-quality customer service.

  • Netflix considers a new ad-supported plan

Netflix considers a new ad-supported plan

Netflix Inc. is considering charging about $7 to $9 a month for its new advertising-supported plan, half of its current most-popular plan, which costs $15.49 monthly with no commercials.

The company plans to launch its budget-friendly option in the year’s final three months across at least half a dozen markets. However, as Bloomberg reported, the full rollout may have to wait until early next year.

The streaming giant plans to sell about four minutes of commercials per hour for the ad-supported service, far less than most of its peers, according to people familiar with the company’s plans.

The company will show advertisements before and during some programs, but not after. It’s also telling advertisers it wants to make smaller deals upfront, so it doesn’t overpromise and overwhelm viewers with the spots, said the people, who declined to be identified because the discussions are private.

Netflix has declined to comment on any specifics about its plans, and many advertisers, partners, and investors still have questions.

Netflix’s goal is to attract subscribers willing to watch some ads in exchange for a lower monthly rate. As the streaming TV pioneer prepares to introduce advertising, it’s trying to strike a careful balance between reaching a more cost-conscious consumer and offering a pleasant experience.

Microsoft Corp. will handle much of that work, which will be Netflix’s exclusive advertising technology and sales partner.

The new plan for ad-supported subscriptions comes after the company reported a loss of about 200,000 subscribers in the first quarter this year against rising inflation squeezing consumer spending.

Netflix is moving into advertising around the same time as Disney+, its biggest rival. While Disney is raising the price on its preliminary plan and keeping the current price for its ad-supported version, Netflix is lowering its service price.

Advertisers, meanwhile, are celebrating Netflix’s decision. The growth of ad-free services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+ prompted an existential crisis among marketers. They worried that TV, once the most extensive advertising sector in the world, was being taken over by services that didn’t run advertising.

One agency projected that the number of time people spent watching the ad-supported video would decline by 6% by 2025. Now that Netflix and Disney+  are entering the field, they say it will increase by 1%.

  • How to include search results from pages in WordPress?

How to include search results from pages in WordPress?

WordPress is an open-source CMS known for blogging and news websites, which relies on posts more than pages. The default search function returns results from posts only, but not from pages.

The WordPress search function will be useless for evergreen content websites as they are built using pages, not posts.

So how to make the WordPress search function return results from pages instead of posts?

Fortunately, there’s a solution for this without hiring a developer.

Simple, go to WordPress Dashboard -> Select Theme File Editor under Appearance -> from the right-hand sidebar, select Functions.php file – add the following code to the very end of the file -> Save.

Now, test your WP Search function. You will notice that search results do now return with results from pages.

    function wpshock_search_filter( $query ) {
        if ( $query->is_search ) {
            $query->set( 'post_type', array('post','page') );
        }
        return $query;
    }
    add_filter('pre_get_posts','wpshock_search_filter');

Where to watch House of the Dragon online in MENA

Want to learn more about the story of House Targaryen? HBO series House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, will debut on OSN+ on August 22.

The new fantasy drama takes place 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones. It details the rise of the Targaryen family to the Iron Throne.

This new HBO series is promising to be nothing short of extravagant. House of the Dragon is considered George R. R. Martin’s first return to the screen since he created Game of Thrones in the last decade. Martin has kept followers up to date by publishing his digital entries from time to time. “The look of it is great, and the acting, the directing, and writing are the first rate. And yes, for all you book fans, it IS my story. Sure, there are some changes from FIRE & BLOOD— but I think Ryan Condal and his writers made good choices. Even some improvements.”

Since he was heavily involved in the “making of,” literature fans will enjoy this one, too. But they won’t be the only ones; fans of menacing dragons will also get to see what Westeros looks like when the skies are teaming with them. It’s safe to say it’s expected to be an epic series. One that has everything from mystical dragon wars to the gruesome violence and epic stunts we’ve grown to love.

The cast includes Paddy Considine (HBO’s The Third Day and The Outsider), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint (It’s a Sin, Doctor Who), Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Fabien Frankel, and Rhys Ifans. Milly Alcock, Bethany Antonia, John Macmillan, and Graham McTavish round out the cast.

The show has ten episodes and starts on OSN+ and OSN Showcase at the same time and date as in the US. The first show will be at 5 a.m. GST on August 22, but it will be shown again at 9 p.m. on OSN Showcase.
